Pike Trail Fanny Packs

I purchased a second one as a gift for my partner.We regularly hike together, so he recently observed me using mine. Even though I had a full pack with 10 + essentials I used the waist pack for snacks,gloves,sunglasses,which saved me stopping and opening my backpack.We were on the move on a cold and windy day,it was great to have what I needed closely available.
Also great for phone/camera.It packs small,I mean a few inches,why not have one just in case?

I used this pack today for the first time. When we head out for a local hike I do not need all 10+ essentials.Today I was able to pack a lunch,snacks, notebook/pen (record bird sightings), little knife, first aid ointment, car keys,ID,hygiene items and there was still room. I love that it can be worn as shoulder or waist pack. The craftsmanship on this pack is impressive,quality fabric and zippers. I love it and the green mantis is perfect for me. This pack,binoculars, my water bottle carrier, hiking poles......its going to be another great season of memorable outings.
